Excellence in Education
| The Village at Sarver's Mill is located within the Freeport Area School District and in fact is located right next door to Buffalo Elementary School. Elementary school aged children can walk to school via a sidewalk leading directly from the community to the school property without the need to walk along the main road. The District selected “Excellence in Education” as its motto and strives to meet that high standard. Two of FASD's schools were named Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence for 2000 – 2001, a designation awarded by the U.S. Secretary of Education. The entire school district earned a Level 2 Lincoln Award for Excellence in Education in 2000, a prestigious award modeled after the Malcolm Baldrige Award. |
